The Archbishop’s Communications Office in Singapore is organizing an online talk for the 57th World Day of Communications and we are opening this up to Catholic communicators in Asia.
Learn to communicate truth in love through the example of St Francis de Sales, the patron Saint of journalists.
The talk which is based on Pope Francis’ Message for the 57th World Day of Communications, is presented by Fr Lawrence Lew, O.P. who will share about how St Francis de Sales won over a hostile audience with his gentleness and courtesy during a time of religious division. He will also share his own experience of preaching the Gospel through captivating photographs and how it has helped him grow as a Christian disciple.

About the Speaker
Fr Lawrence Lew, O.P., is a Dominican friar and serves as Prior, Parish Priest, and Rector at the Rosary Shrine at the Priory Church of Our Lady of the Rosary and St. Dominic in Haverstock Hill, London. He earned his License in Sacred Theology from the Dominican House of Studies in Washington DC. He is currently appointed as the Promoter General for the Holy Rosary in the Dominican Order. He is an avid photographer, and his photos are regularly featured on book covers, in magazines, and in online publications.
